It's even worse that people are entitled that RuneScape has to be changed to fit their opinion of how it needs to be made. I fully expect this post to RuneScape 2007 gold be downvoted to hell since I'm directly opposing 90 percent of the reddit community, but if you're a strong willed individual who respects the developers time then speak up since it seems we are few and far between with this echo chamber site.
You do realize that the whole reason why they let some things is dictated by the community is because dictating things themselves already tried and they were absolutely dreadful and killed their own game. Their game wouldn't be effective and quite as popular if they didn't do this because they are not competent enough, so while it was clever of them to go this path, they should be thanking the community. Like polling makes them resistant to any criticisms, it's not, and it is not incorrect to call them out on things that are essential to call out thus go lick Jagexs butthole elsewhere Karen.
Some suggestions are warranted. However, these quality of life upgrades are what I am focusing on. The majority of them are the pettiest complaints I've ever seen. I read them and I think wow, what a weak individual looking for any excuse to complain. It is things I've never had a problem with but somehow someone gets mad about this little thing and then believes it needs to be changed. The worlds moving dude. My view is pretty bleak on this generation if such quality of life things that they bring up are the things they can't deal with. Gonna when they develop to run the world, be scary.Ironmen mostly do not have a lot to spend gold on so passing is a great thing to have is, provides lots of worth to GP that might otherwise be unworthy. It is great to have a usage for this. One thing is you really don't need to bring that change, this switch, and the change. You don't. If you're dying so much that it is causing you trouble, you can enhance at the boss then bring that stuff instead of attempting to bring a lot of stuff and bleeding money like crazy. A or so is that a lot costlier than A gear setup. Bosses in RuneScape are for the most part quite feeble - with recent upgrades we have got a boatload of powercreep. This should not be a significant issue.
There is nothing wrong with deaths in RS3's price. Anyone who encounters 10m+ death costs ought to be capable enough at telos to produce that earn 5-10 minutes worth of time. (idk solak/aod gp/hr( just performed on my iron). Death costs can also be made back out of 5 minutes of this great majority of high level supervisors. I've an ironman with large kc at every boss, passing costs are not an issue there. You have a massive abundance of GP and oynx's. Fucks stay crazy, keep yelling about 10m you poor tramps. I agree, but you're grossly overstating the ordinary death cost that is rs3. I use t90 equipment with switches and such and my passing cost is about 2mil and I have never seen anybody say their death cost was over 5mil earlier (which I know its possible and people do have it, but its rare enough that as someone that pvms with different people for hours daily, I have never seen it), therefore the average certainly isnt 6mil.
By overstating the typical departure cost you're poking holes in your argument instead of strengthening as I'm confident you had intended. With the manner Jagex is, a jmod could literally look at this post and just point out that basing on instanced boss encounter fatalities, the average death price cost is far less than you mentioned so there's absolutely no problem and no rework is necessary. As I said at the beginning, I agree with you, but I'm just giving some comments on that part because it's a really enlightening and largely factual post minus the part.I earnestly don't think I'm overstating the price to get a pvm death employing a typical gear installation. It is a equipment setup that is standard. Item brings this to buy RS gold over 6m. This is not some hybrid setup that is crazy. It's only a melee setup with an sgb change, nothing mad.
